What this page shows
We currently publish reports for 141 categories, each with its own page and its own ranked report, so you can go straight to the one you sell in. They fall into three broad groups:
- Apparel, such as t shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts
- Home and living, such as wall art, wall hangings, pillows and mugs
- Paper and digital, such as greeting cards, stationery and printables
What a category means and why it matters
A category is the slice of Etsy a report covers, and it is also the unit you choose when you pick a plan. Starter covers one category, the middle tiers cover a handful and ten, and the widest plan covers every category we report on. So if you sell t shirts and mugs, that is two categories, and you would pick a plan that covers both. Choosing the right categories matters more than buying the most, since a focused seller usually needs only the one or two they actually produce.
What you get inside a category report
Each category report ranks listings by the reviews they gained in the window you pick, the last day, week, fifteen days or month. Alongside the rank you see the listing price, which is the full non discounted price on Etsy, and the change in favorites and views over the same window. New entries, listings that earned their first ever review in the last 30 days, are flagged so you can tell a fresh breakout from a long running seller, and listings from shops with two or more rising products are marked as top shops. How a category report is produced
For each category we sweep Etsy's official API as much as our quota allows, prioritizing the strongest signals rather than claiming to read every listing. We clean out dead listings, enrich the rest once and cache them, snapshot favorites and views daily, and rank the movers by the reviews they gained. The result is a finished report the app serves instantly. A new review only follows a delivered order, so the ranking is built on confirmed sales rather than guesses.
