Frequently Asked Questions
A research tool. You connect your own shop only so we can match the shortlist to your categories. We hold read-only access and never change anything in your shop.
Public signals from the Etsy API: views, favorites, reviews, and stock.
They are confirmed, not estimated. Etsy doesn't publish exact sales, so Podkon counts what a sale leaves behind in public: every new review follows a delivered order, and stock movements track units sold. That makes the count a floor rather than a guess, because not every buyer leaves a review. Real sales are usually higher, never lower.
We show public listing prices and confirmed sales. Sales counts are a floor derived from public signals, not Etsy's internal figures.
The official Etsy API only. We do not scrape, and we do not use browser extensions.
We retain data only as long as needed to build the lists and category themes. We never sell or share Etsy data with third parties, and we never use it to train AI models.

Yes. Monthly billing, no contract.
You connect your own shop through Etsy's official OAuth 2.0, granting read-only access. We exchange the code for a token, refresh it when needed, and make read-only API requests. We never see your password. See our integration & compliance page for the full flow.
We follow Etsy's API Terms: listing content is never shown more than 6 hours older than Etsy, and other Etsy content never more than 24 hours older. We refresh on a regular schedule to stay within these limits.
Only as long as needed to build the trend lists and category themes, then we refresh or remove it. Connected-shop data is deleted when you disconnect.
We read only the minimum public fields needed to rank products in the categories you choose. We don't request more than we need.
